Growing our own vegtables!

Kay came to school today to help us with our gardening. We prepared the soil, dug drills, planted seeds, covered them over with soil and watered them.

We are looking forward to looking after them and watching them grow. We planted lettuce and parsnips.

Our School Parade

Today we made flags and banners, wrapped up and went out to support the Senior School as they paraded around Renmore. We saw some of our brothers, sisters, some friends and even someone’s mum! Hopefully next year most of us will be playing in the band and some of the girls might even be majorettes!

Hip Hop Dancing

We had Hip Hop classes in school this month with a Hip Hop teacher called Fabiane. She showed us some really cool dance moves! We continued our own Hip Hop in our PE classes with our teacher and made up our own routines. It was great fun and it also keeps us fit! Here we are, check out the moves!!

Australia Day....2011 Calendar

This week we celebrated Australia Day.....we talked a lot about how people celebrate Australia Day and about the different Animals that we know that come from Australia. We looked at pictures of the different landmarks like Sydney Harbour bridge, The Sydney Opera House and Ayers Rock to name a few.

We then drew a picture of the Sydney Opera House and made it into a 2011 Calendar that we brought home to put up in our kitchens. Here we are making our calendars.

Halloween Fun

Here We are having fun in our class for Halloween, We did lots of Halloween art and had our Hallowen Walk- around Renmore on Friday, 22nd Oct.

Babaro

On the 12th October, We went on a class trip to see 'Echoa', a show in the Black Box Theatre run by Babaro- The International Art's Festival for children. It had alot of drumming and dancing, it is kind of hard to descibe but it was great fun to watch.
